Offerings

When there's a hard or fuzzy question and a need for real understanding, not just more data. I run the full study end to end: framing the question, working from the existing data or the lack of it, and coming back with the signal underneath, a clear read on what it means, and frameworks to put it into action, whether that's a brand strategy or a product decision. Each study is tailored to the specific question or business problem, the timeframe, and the team's culture. This is the work I care most about, and where an outside perspective earns its keep.

01 A Deep Dive Study

When there’s a need for experienced hands to support research that's already underway, or needed now, when there's a lack of resource and no room for a full-time hire. This is that. Freelance support running interviews, analysis, or ResearchOps, jumping in where your team is stretched and delivering cleanly back to them. A senior researcher who can pick it up and run.

02 Research support for your team

Sometimes what's missing is the layer above the research itself: shaping proposals, running negotiations, and connecting a business need to the right research and the right researchers. Interim or fractional cover for that layer, held by someone who has run it from every side, in-house, agency, and tech product teams, plus leading an independent consultancy.

03 Research account management

90 minutes on your research question or approach, plus a short written summary of where I'd take it. For when you know there's a question worth answering and want a sharper way in before you commit to a full study. Useful when the resource is already on the table and just needs pointing the right way, or when the team is stuck and needs a senior pair of eyes to unstick it. Fixed fee.

04 A single clarity session

The process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    Frame with purpose

The real question gets defined. What's already known gets mapped and the people around the problem get heard, so the direction is shaped with the team, not handed to them.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and half circle lines.

    Fieldwork with care

Finding the answers with the methods best suited to the question, whether that's depth interviews, observation, immersion, co-design, or a mix.

    Make sense

The material becomes something a team can act on: models, journeys, and clear patterns, with the meaningful pulled clear of the noise. This is where the non-obvious becomes usable and the "so what" gets sharp.

    Make it stick

Findings are tied to the decision in front of you, with clear recommendations and, where you want it, a working session that turns understanding into what the team does next. The work happens inside the team, so it becomes shared conviction and a way of deciding, rather than something read once and filed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Isn't deep qualitative research slow and expensive?

Deliberate, not slow. A few weeks of real understanding costs far less than a quarter, or a launch, spent creating and building for someone you misread.

How many people you need to speak to to get the answer?

Depth, not headcount. With the right people and real conversations, the patterns and the meaning show up quickly. I'm after why and how, which a large sample tends to flatten.

How do you use AI?

It runs through the whole process, but I hand it more where the work is mechanical and less where it needs judgement. Early on it does a lot. In fieldwork and interpretation it assists, but the moderation, the rapport and the thinking stay human.

Do you work with in-house research teams?

Often. As a depth partner, or an extra pair of senior hands during busy periods.

Can you reach sensitive and vulnerable audiences?

Yes. I'm psychology-trained, and a care and ethics plan is built into every study.

Where are you based?

Remote, worldwide. Comfortable across US, Latin American and European time zones. Moderation in English, Spanish, and Lithuanian.
